Points have been updated – tentatively I am going to have them take effect from the 1st of July – as that is about where I suspect tournaments in Listfortress will be basing themselves on the new pointvalues. Also added a new Timeline option in the menu – faction-specific matchup-data. (Thanks Chris Allen for the
Initiative spread analysis added. Major changes: Initiative Spread added. Select “Initiative” in the dropdown. The chart will show a bubble for each initiative for every faction. It will also show the popularity (% of total meta) and performance of lists in that faction flying at least one ship of that initiative. Thanks to @gamblertuba for
UI Changes: New way of zooming: I realized this morning that clicking on an item in a chart no longer allowed you to drill into that item. Apparently this has been broken since I allowed free zooming and panning. In order to fix this, the zoom-controls had to be adjusted. So to zoom you have use

Major changes: New Listfortress API: PBM is now loading from the ListFortress API. This API has recently been expanded to include Match data – which makes a lot more fun things possible – incl. showing archetype vs archetype matchup rates etc. There is still very little data in Listfortress that has Match data, and the
Major changes: Upgrade details added. By clicking the name of an upgrade in the upgrade-list or pilot-details you can now get detailed analysis of the performance of this upgrade. Updated “Introduction to Pink Brain Matter” post to reflect this. Minor changes: Minor textual fixes on the pilot-detail page. Performance improvements for loading upgrade-data. Current Backlog:

After some consideration I have decided to NOT make new “season datasets” for this change – as the meta change seems quite small. (From the point change late january
